I took out the little plant I had in these (ok, i guess I killed them with neglect, then removed them) and replaced them with basil, oregano, and parsley! That way it's super-close to the house for quick picking.
sworn I had more than this...Reese and I decided we needed more crows and such, so we rode our bike to the dollar store and got some more. I'm not really into the purple and orange, pumpkin stuff. I love the Adams Family look.

Reese and Daisy are both obsessed with birthdays, so after we took a swim and a bike ride (me biking, them in the trailer behind me singing happy birthday to you) we went home and made a birthday cake. We sang and blew out candles at least 10 times, then ate "unbirthday" cake!
I did hair (and some make-up) for the mother of the bride, bridesmaid, and bride for a friend's wedding. This was especially fun because she has thin, shoulder-length hair. You gotta love the clip-in extensions! The best part was when she brought them back in a baggie-it looked like a platinum dead animal.

These were our family home evening treat. They are cake-mix cookies, rolled in sprinkles before baking, with the sticks that you put in right when they come out of the oven. Shelly and I went to a really cool discount grocery store where they had a "Price is Right" type of wheel if you spend $50 or more, and you get to pick out free stemware with each purchase. I bought yummy bakery sprinkles for a dollar a pound, and even found a way to use my free stemware. :) I think being frugal is kind of fun.
